Every year, Creative World Owners, Directors, and Teachers come together for our amazing education conference to celebrate our achievements, mingle, hear great speakers, and participate in education and leadership sessions. The theme for this year was “Sparkle,” and throughout our two day sessions, over 450 employees and owners came ready to Shine!
At Creative World Schools, “We are the Spark, So our Children can Sparkle!” Investing in continuing education of our franchise owners and schools is an essential piece of our ongoing support. Our conference started with intensive leadership sessions for owners and school directors, where we all explored our leadership styles, capabilities, and how to best communicate with each other. These sessions included small and large group workshops, guest experts on leadership, engaging exercises, and of course a whole lot of Sparkle inspired fun!
On day two, we welcomed teachers and support staff of our franchise locations to join in on the fun. It all kicked off with a huge pep-rally to get everyone energized for the information sessions and a celebration of each school’s achievements throughout the year. Awards were also presented to individual teachers for years of service and a peer-nominated recognition, the WOW Award. We capped off the morning with our keynote speaker, Dr. Jean Feldman, who lead our team through exciting song, dance and inspirational lessons of praise for how important each and every teacher is to their school.
Throughout the day, our teachers had the opportunity to rotate through a choice of concurrent training sessions, ranging from educational inquiry tips, leadership skills, to great ways to make their classrooms as fun as engaging as possible for the children.
The Sparkle conference is still fresh in our minds, however we have heard from many owners and teachers that this was the greatest and most inspiring conference they’ve been to. We’re quite proud of our entire team who worked tirelessly to bring it all together and give our teachers the opportunity to show us how they shine!
