About the Process

Will you help with site selection?

Yes! We use a proprietary system to analyze the demographics of available sites in your market and evaluate them in terms of price, location, access, and zoning. We also offer a full set of construction plans and specifications to adapt to your site. We will assist you in all phases of construction.

What kind of training can I expect?

We will conduct an initial Operations Leadership Training for you and one or two of your leadership personnel at our training facility in Bonita Springs, FL (and/or a designated school) for approximately two weeks.

In addition, we provide approximately one week of hands-on staff training at your school building prior to opening day. Our team will support you through your school opening by providing project management, event coordination, enrollment guidance, and everything else you need as you launch your new school.

When will my school open?

It usually takes 12 to 16 months to complete a school construction project.

Will I receive help in marketing my new school?

Yes! Our marketing department will guide you in utilizing our inventory of proven promotional materials and platforms, customized for your school and its opening activities. You will receive pre-opening advertising support, followed by ongoing assistance in marketing your school.

About the Business

Do I need previous experience?

Don’t worry! We don’t require prior experience in education or childcare. Our team will provide the tools and training you need to lead a high-quality early education school in your community. Your business coach will guide you with best-practice expertise to hire a balanced team of leaders and educators. Ongoing training resources are part of our turn-key package to set you up for success. All you need to bring is the passion to make a difference, and we will equip you with the tools you need!

How large is a school?

We offer two building sizes: Our 10,000 sq. ft. building is designed for approximately 190 children and requires a minimum lot size of 1.5 acres. Our 13,000 sq. ft. building is designed for approximately 250 children and requires a minimum lot size of 2.5 acres. Depending on availability of land and the population of the nearby community, we can recommend which size school would be best for your area.

Will I receive guidance on purchasing what I need?

Your new school will come completely furnished with everything you and your staff of teachers need for success on opening day. After opening, our affiliate Discount Preschool contracts for large quantities of equipment and supplies to ensure you receive the best prices on needed purchases.

Will I have a protected territory?

Absolutely! You will have a protected five-mile radius around your school where no other Creative World School franchisee may locate.

Do you provide any “extras”?

Some of the added benefits you will enjoy when you become a Creative World owner include: Access to our customer relationship and billing systems, an individual school website, inclusion in our social media platforms, a team of support coaches, and ongoing resources provided by the Creative World School corporate team.

About the Financials

How much money can I make?

Profitability depends on a number of factors including your ability to reach enrollment capacity, manage the business, and control costs. These factors, including debt service, all affect the profit the school can generate. The average revenue of our 13,000+ sq. ft. schools in 2019 was $1,879,175 with an EBITDAR of 32.2% or $673,946. How much is my initial investment?

Depending on the size of the school and land costs, your initial investment requirement is $800,000 for the 10,000 sq. ft. school. If you do not have access to this amount of capital you may consider partnering with another investor and co-own a school. Additional funding for your school can be obtained through business loans.

Does Creative World offer financing?

We currently recommend financing through the United States Small Business Administration (SBA) loan programs. The SBA 504 program can loan up to 85% of the cost for land, building, furniture, fixtures, and equipment to qualified new school operators, up to 90% for the second school. Their 7A program can loan up to 90% of your first school.

What are the initial franchise and royalty fees?

The initial franchise fee is $80,000. There are no royalty fees until your school reaches 75 enrolled children. From there, royalties increase gradually from 5% for the first year, 6% for the second year, and 7% for the third year and beyond.
