The Franchise Process: Laying the Groundwork to Open Your Own Childcare Franchise – Part I
January 4, 2016The Franchise Process: Building Your Team and Promoting Your Childcare Franchise – Part III
February 3, 2016As the Franchise Process progresses here at Creative World School, our new franchise owners are eager to see physical progress in their investment. Once the financing is set and a site has been established, the building can begin!
Architecture
As planning begins, we furnish a complete set of our prototype construction plans to the architect who modifies the design to fit your site. During the initial architecture phase, franchise owners choose the exterior colors of the building, the exterior material, brick or stucco, the trim colors, and roof shingles. The permit process takes 2-3 months.
Construction
When the building plans are complete and submitted for permits, the Creative World School team helps the franchise owners select 4-5 local General Contractors experienced in constructing comparable buildings and invite them to bid on the project. Franchise owners review the bids and decide which contractor to partner with to build the school. Construction generally takes about 6 months, weather permitting, and the franchise owner and Creative World School Team will have weekly conference calls with the contractor to keep the construction on schedule.
The construction phase in the Franchising Process is very exciting, yet very stressful. We at Creative World School are committed to supporting our franchise owners. Check out some of our current franchise owners stories.
